Agent Access

Agent Onboarding

Welcome to
Cornerstone Council

You are not just joining a company — you are building a business of your own, one you can be genuinely proud of, while helping those around you reach their full potential. Follow these steps in order and reach out to your upline along the way.

1
Request Agent Portal Access
First Priority

Contact your upline and request access to the Agent Portal. This is your central hub — leads, submissions, and firm-wide communications all live here. Do not skip or delay this step.

2
Join the Cornerstone Discord
First Priority

Request your Discord invite link from your upline. Discord is where the team operates — training calls, announcements, mentorship, and live support all run through it. Once in, introduce yourself and get familiar with the channels.

3
Submit Your Information

Provide your upline with the following. This is required to register you in the system and move into contracting.

  • Full Legal Name
  • NPN — National Producer Number
  • Social Security Number — for carrier identity verification
  • Licensed States — all states you are currently licensed in
4
Gather Your Documents

Have these ready before contracting begins. Being prepared upfront eliminates delays and gets you in the field faster.

  • Government-Issued Photo ID — Driver's License or Passport
  • E&O Insurance Certificate — Errors & Omissions
  • AML Training Certificate — Anti-Money Laundering
  • Voided Check — for direct deposit setup
  • Proof of Licensure — state license certificate
  • Existing Carrier Contracts — if transferring from another agency
  • Professional Headshot — optional, for your agent profile
AML Training: Typically completed through LIMRA or your carrier's onboarding portal. Ask your upline for the preferred provider.
5
Complete Carrier Contracting

Once your information and documents are submitted, your upline will walk you through contracting with the carriers you'll write business for. This step officially appoints you as an agent and locks in your commission level.

Most contracting is completed digitally with a typical turnaround of a few business days per carrier.

6
Review the Compensation Guide

Know exactly how you get paid before you write your first policy. The Compensation Guide covers commission tiers, bonus structures, and how advancing within the firm grows your earning potential. Read it thoroughly.
